Valentine’s Day is coming up, and this morning, I accidentally mentioned the word “treats” in front of my dog. By “treats,” I meant chocolates and candies, but I’m pretty sure my dog had other things in mind . . .

Valentine’s Day
is now well on its way
and I heard that you’re shopping for treats!
Chocolates and candy
for kids are just dandy,
but I prefer Milkbones and meats!
So don’t fill your cart
with those chalky, pink hearts.
To do so would be a mistake!
Instead, you should make an
investment in bacon
as well as in chicken and steak!
