It’s official! Winter is here and it’s time to get ready for the snow! For me, this means dusting off the snow shovel and making sure I have lots of coffee on hand for marathon writing sessions. But for my dog and all of her neighborhood friends, it means something completely different. It means treats are on the way! To celebrate, I’ve written a poem all about snow from the perspective of my dog!

A natural treat!
The more it falls,
the more we eat!
The more we eat,
the faster we run,
so let’s all feast
and have some fun!
